Artwork

The artists in this volume have worked with photography, linocut, pen, acrylics, and human hair to re-envisage the figure of the mermaid. We’re keeping the actual works we’ve selected for the anthology top secret (so why not get yourself a copy?), but some of the responses we’ve had are in our online gallery.

Michele Brenton (5 photographs – “Underwater” and “Mermaids”. love the aquamarine Caribbean feel to these – enjoy the expression on one of the fish in a swimming school as though he/she is seeing a mermaid – the others leave me believing that a mermaid could drift into view and break surface – quite lovely – each snd all
